Mr. Khao Keophouvanh

A Bit About Me

Mr. Khao Keophouvanh is a Lao-qualified lawyer with over a decade of legal practice and consulting experience. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from the National University of Laos and is a certified member of the Lao Bar Association.

Mr. Khao began his legal career in 2012 as a legal officer at AFESIP Lao, an NGO supporting victims of human trafficking. He later joined SCL Law Office Limited, where he gained extensive experience advising both domestic and foreign clients on corporate structuring, labor compliance, investment law, taxation, and intellectual property. His practice also includes drafting bilingual legal documents, conducting legal and tax due diligence, assisting with loan and financial transactions, and representing clients in trademark and IP-related matters.

From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Khao provided independent legal consultancy services, focusing on corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, labor law, banking, taxation, and real estate. In 2022, he co-founded KT Law Consulting Co., Ltd., where he currently serves as Director and Shareholder.
